Earning your sport/private pilot certificate or your flight review endorsement after a multi-year hiatus is a great accomplishment. It opens the world of flying to you and all that it offers. But would you believe that many pilots give up flying shortly after such? Its not that they intend to, but that without the structured, goal-driven program that flight training provides, life tends to get in the way of going out to the airport to fly. Pretty soon they are rusty and not current and reluctant to call an instructor to address this problem. Soon they are not flying at all. Don't let this happen to you! Get involved in the greater aviation community, set flying goals for yourself, and add some structure and fun back into your flying.
